Hello, I'm Amy AKA Drifterdoot. I was born and raised in the  Downriver area of Michigan. I've been a transplant to Southwest Florida for the past 20 years. I love SW Florida but I miss the 4 seasons, especially the fall months. I tend to head back up north during fall & winter for short little adventures.  
 
    I'm a dispatcher by night and a traveler by day. I work full time as a 911 EMS & Fire dispatcher.  My co-workers and I brainstorm many adventures when it's slow on our night shifts.  I tend to visit the fire stations on my travels to swap patches and meet the local 1st responders. It's always fun to see how other countries and cities  operate in emergency situations. My husband is a firefighter,EMT and police officer so he enjoys it as well. 

     I'm normally not a solo traveler. I'm married and I have a teenage daughter. I take a lot of trips with the family. I also enjoy traveling with my friends, and co-workers.  I'm always up for an adventure with whomever is willing to go explore. Maybe you'll get to experience some of our great travel tips in your own travel adventures.

   Haunted places are my favorite to visit.  I love crazy fun hats and strange destinations. So follow along  for some funny pictures. I love to interact with the locals on my getaways.
